Stratified Chromatic Fields™ are the painting practice of Wiktoria Florek.
Layered colour, fluorescent pigments, graphite and shifts in material
density create surfaces that hold structure and rupture in tension.
The relationship with an environment develops through scale, light,
viewing distance and the movement of people around the work.
The studies below explore those relationships in imagined
architectural settings. They are proposed installations, presented at
conceptual commission scale.

A presence across the space.
The painting is positioned as the focal point of a double-height living
space. Glazing extends its visibility to the surrounding landscape,
while the interior allows a close, individual encounter with the work.

A vertical field of colour establishes a focal point within a high
architectural volume. The study explores the balance between the
painting’s presence and the surrounding expanse of concrete, glazing
and floor.
